So this is what 34 weeks looks like...

So this is what 34 weeks looks like. Now the only reason I am sharing these "wonderful" pictures with you is because I have amazing family that lives so far away and haven't seen me since I've become pregnant. So hold on tight, here are some good ole belly pics. Laugh if you must, but I'll try to keep em coming! Sorry it took me a while to get these up. My computer is a little handicapped and I had to do this a crazy way, so enjoy!

Long time no see...

I know, I know... lay off! Its been quite a while since I've updated this thing. However, everything is wonderful and nothing could be better. Corey and I are doing great. The baby is moving like crazy and although I moan and groan at some of his or her kicks, I am so thankful that I am able to actually get to experience something so amazing as being pregnant. I'm ready to have this baby but on the other hand I'm scared to death. As the days and weeks go by I realize that in only 6 short weeks I could be holding him or her and looking into the baby's eyes and I have to be responsible for this little human being that is relying on only Corey and I to make sure it has everything it needs for survival. Its a big deal, and as everyone has told me time and time again, my life will never be the same.

Anyways, update time... so we have some wonderful news. Corey's grandpa Ted has been suffering from cancer for quite a few months (this, however, is not the wonderful news). There were some terrible episodes that left him in the hospital for days upon days and he was insanely sick for quite awhile trying out this experimental new treatment. I'm sure a few of those days he was wishing he never said "yes" to the clinical trial. However, it paid off. Through lots of prayers and good ole' modern medicine Ted is doing fantastic now and he is in remission. It really is a blessing to hear of all the progress he has made and we are very thankful he is doing so well.

So far I've had two baby showers and I love it! Its so wonderful of family and friends to think of us in this terrible time in the economy. We are so fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people. In the mean time, our nursery is filling up fast! I guess I never thought of what I should do with a baby bathtub when you don't have a baby yet. I love love love the bathtub though, it has a thermometer on it to tell you if the water is too cold or too hot, and lots of other features. Love it! Anyways, we need a house. If anyone is giving them away, let me know. :)

Taylor is doing well. She is now 25 weeks and getting to experience now the constant jabs and kicks. Its lovely! I'm throwing her a baby shower this weekend so I am sure there will be lots of pictures on her blogspot (taylorlynne34.blogspot.com).

And lastly, good friends of ours, Chris and Shannon, just NOW told us (I'm not bitter right... hehehehe) that they too are expecting! Yay! That makes 6 couples who are having babies within 4 months of each other! Its insane, but just in case, don't drink the water in Hamilton County, I heard its tainted... just kidding

And now for baby updates... Right now we are 34 weeks and the baby could weigh up to 5 lbs and be as long as 20 inches! However, I'm 5'2" with my shoes on and Corey is all of 5'8" so I'm thinking probably not 20 inches just yet... Sleeping I found out is a luxury that I apparently don't get to experience anymore. I'm probably up at least six times a night. Going to the restroom, getting a glass of milk and taking a zantac because this child is giving me tons and tons of indigestion, and waking up to the kicks and round ligament pain. I have news for this baby though, six times a night is not ok when he or she grants me with their presence. We will have a discussion about that you can count on it. Just kidding. (kinda)

So... I was going to post pictures on here but my computer sucks and apparently I can't figure it out. So I will try to and I will post some pictures hopefully today. Cross your fingers, but don't hold your breath. Love you!
